i have found a married couple, the wife was born Queens Coy, Ireland, the husband, kings Coy, Ireland, am i right in thinking these are the Kings Own Yorks and Qeens Own Yorks regiments but stationed in ireland? If so this is ace, will keep me busy all year!!!!

Leix or Laois was known as Queen's County and Offaly was known as King's County. Mary I and Philip II named them after themselves. I've seen them called such in atlases even in the early 20thC.
