Can anyone help me as this is driving me mad!
I have previously ordered certificates from G.R.O. on line whithout any problems, but a couple of months ago I tried to order with Worldpay and my visa card was declined. After several e.mails from Worldpay saying
they are looking into it I am still no further.ahead.My Visa people said the info passed by Worldpay did not include my house number so they could not authorise it. nothing has been changed since my original registration and orders previously received with out problems. I was advised by G.R.O to set up a different e mail address and re register which I have done but inspite of this it has still been declined. What else can anyone suggest I do.

I suggest that you order the certificates at the registry office the event was originally registered at. I only use the GRO if the original office has closed down and I am unsure where the records have gone.

Thanks Spudqueen I will try your suggestion, Do they charge the same price i.e.7.00
Yes, I usually just google the name of the registry office I want. Some of them take orders on line, others over the phone and some will want you to send them a cheque. I have always found them pleasant, helpful and very efficient. I once ordered 6 certificates from one registry office over the phone (they took my debit card details) and I received them the very next morning!
