Anyone know anyone with calligraphy skills who would write up a family tree that I have already got printed out? Doesn't have to cost the earth!

Why not buy a calligraphy pen and have a go yourself, who knows, you might be good at it and start a new hobby.
i agree with the first poster, it is all about having a careful and neat hand and the right pen, try WHSmith, they usually have a starter kit.
If you just get a pen, use your word processor font styles to write the names etc and print them off, cut the individula names out and create a 3D effect chart, alot simpler and if it is for a wall mounted tree it could look quite effective.
A;lternatively, use your word processor font as a template to trace and copy over it by hand with your calligraphy pen.

However, ornately written trees can be difficult to read, and should usually only be for display IMO.
A suitable font would be Old English. It can be down loaded for free off the internet.
