What's Happened To The Dream ?
Just loaded up the Google page and noticed that they have an illustration of Maya Angelou - American Poet , Singer and civil rights activist .
Apparently she was born on this day in 1928 .
Also today marks 50 years since Martin Luther King was assassinated .
Last night I caught a bit on the news about black Americans in Milwaukee - America's most segregated major city .
They showed a black and a white man enquiring about buying/renting an apartment .
The black guy being told that it is not available and the white guy being told the total opposite .
Apparently estate agents still discriminate against black people when it comes to properties on their books
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/av /world- us-cana da-4362 3215/ml k-anniv ersary- what-s- changed -in-ame rica-s- most-se gregate d-city
What's happened to Mr King's dream ?
Anyone got any opinions / views on the matter ?

I have no doubt that it does occur but the problem here is that they were looking for the response so one wonders what exactly was said/shown by the two applicants. People are refused accommodation for all manner of reasons.
