Yes definitely Firenze N.

She had a sister Parthenope but she wasnt born in the Parthenon.

F.was given to asking all her relations,
Is it acceptable to a yong lady to take up nursing as the Roman Catholic Ladies do ?
This implies that there was a history before F., of gentlefolk nursing who were R.C. and which was gone largely unrecorded.

Parthenope was born in Naples - Partenopei was the original Greek city in the bay which was abandoned in favour of the "new city" (neapolis = Naples) which replaced it. Partenopei is still a (posh or poetical) way of describing the people of Naples.
