Does the Pope (any Pope that is) have normal staff bth male and female or are they all male and vicars and suchlike.  I am referring to chambermaids, cooks laundry et al?

Apparently, I heard on one news reel, that the Pope was looked after by 26 nuns + the chamberlain + all his cardinals etc etc

But did the Pope have women nurses or are they Nuns and who did the private things for him - would all be very stiff and cold to have red robed cardinals brushing your teeth - surely he had some comfort.
