is it true that if a person takes the pin from a hand grenade and swallows the grenade chances are he or she, as the case may be,will have their blooming insides all over the bloody pavement? and as amazing as it seems if rushed to hospital they would still be dead upon arrival?

Yes it's true.

But it's also true if they swallow the pin instead.

You would be able to swallow it. Its to big. you'd choke in the prosess if it didn't go off before then and blow your head to pieces.

Unless of course they have started making them grape sized these days.
