If these withdrawals caused your account to go into an unarranged overdraft, then any charges would probably be covered by the bank's Terms and Conditions. If no overdraft was involved then I would lodge a complaint with the bank.
I don't think twix read your question correctly as you used a credit card to withdraw this money not a debit card. I may be wrong but I can't see how you can claim back bank charges as in the terms and conditions of using your credit card you would have been warned about the high charges if you use it to withdraw cash.
Withdrawing money with a credit card is a last resort. The charges are horrendous. I know, I've got the T-shirt.
Your CC normaly charges, I think 5% of a cash withdrawal. Thats from a hole in the wall, however if you used one that charges you to withdraw as in pubs etc, then these are private comapnies and the transaction charges MAY be what you have incurred.

Ring your CC
Usually, if you use a CC, the machine advises you that you will be charged, and asks if you wish to proceed. If you saw the message, but perhaps didn't take it in, then you are stuck with the charges.
