Selling old British Coins - How/Where/Values
3 Answers
Couldn't find suitable "Topic" in the list, so trying this one.
I've got a fair number of old british coins, some in the old paper coin bags the bank used.
The coins are things like the threepenny bit (not silver), sixpences, crowns and half-crowns.
These coins may be ten a penny! but who knows, the odd one may be more valuable.
Does anyone know a good way to get reliable info on values, and where to offer them for sale, apart from ebay.
If I'm honest I just want them to go to someone who collects this type of thing, and get a fair price if they have any value at all. Condition is what I'd call "out of your pocket" rater than a specific condition like fine or very fine etc.
Thanks for reading this.

I suppose they'd be of interest to someone, but it's difficult to know who, and as you say, there might be the odd rarity among them. I'll let you know if I find something easier than becoming an authority on the subject, and perhaps you'll do the same? Cheers, G
