Just come across a book 11.22.63 by Stephen King. Its about a guy travels back in time to prevent the assassination of J.F.Kennedy. If he succeeds what
would the fate of USA be.
This got me wondering about other what ifs.
Henry V111 had a healthy son
Napoleon won the battle of Waterloo.............
Please let me know your "what ifs"
Henry VIII did have a healthy son, but illegitimate. What if he'd married the mother? Probably no need for a church of England so we'd all be good Catholics and love the Pope.
Far too large a subject, even in each individual case, for any meaningful answers on a site like this. Cause and effect cannot be logically extrapolated.
>>>What if the Archduke Ferdinand had not been assassinated would world war one have happened.
Europe was a powder keg waiting to go off.
Germany was looking for an excuse for war and this was just the excuse they wre looking for. If not this event then they would have found another.
When the young person who shot Archduke Ferdinand was asked if he felt guilty about starting world war one he replied "Germany wold have found another excuse".
The above are all very interesting but more importantly if no one had discovered curing/smoking techniques of meat then bacon would never have been discovered :-(
