Old Friends

lost track about 1970. John and Dorothy Davies, three children. Met just outside Bolton. They moved to Nutall, Nottingham, then to Christchurch, New Zealand.
Anyone know them now or have contact?

Possibly with childrens names it would be worth looking for the family of dorothy davies if her maiden name was unusual, if they were from the bolton area, maybe they are still in touch, do you have the names and ages of the children?

The kids are the right age to have Facebook- try searching their names and just pop a quick note to anyone UKwise with those names- people usually don't mind even if it's not them.

the kids will be in their 40s if not older, they could live anywhere in the world and if they were female they may have married and have a totally new surname, if dorothy and john married in bolton then there are 3 possible maiden names, all are quite common in lancashire, quite an ask all round

Thanks nox and dj hawkes. You may guess from the question that I am the wrong side of 21 so Facebook doesn't feature in my vocabulary! My daughter will try it!!!! But many thanks for the suggestion.
