Rhyme
2 Answers
I was recently sorting through papers & documents & I found this little rhyme which I would like to share with you all.
Sitting On The Doorstep
I’m sitting on the doorstep
And I’m eating bread & jam
I aint a cryin really
Tho I spose you think I am
I’m feeling rather lonely
And I don’t know what to do
There’s no one here to play with
And I’ve broke my hoop in two
I can hear the children playing
But they say they don’t want me
Cos my legs are only little
And I run so slow you see
So I’m sitting on the doorstep
And I’m eating bread and jam
And I aint a cryin really
Tho it feels as if I am.
