This is 'The Lady Radley' here,
Happy New Year to Answerbankers one and all. May I wish for you everyone good health and happiness for 2014.
It is an honour to be chosen as the Royal Setter for the beginning of a brand new year.
My nom de plume was given to me by Crofter due to my love of handbags. Lady Radley (aka Handbaglady).
2013 was an eventful year for my family. On 30 April my daughter gave birth to my third granddaughter who was named Jasmine Lily.
Tara, the eldest granddaughter, graduated from Northumbria University in June and flew to Perth, Australia two days after Graduation. She’s having a wonderful time.
My son John is also at Northumbria University, He graduates as a Building Surveyor in June this year. He was very fortunate to have secured a surveyors job whilst studying.
We had a wonderful summer, the only downside due to radiotherapy treatment I was unable to sit out in sun for a year afterwards. I kept telling everyone we’d have a good summer.
A very good friend had a short break in Dublin before Christmas, Guinness and leprechauns all round I think.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I shall follow this rule on word length, in that each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each of the selected link words may go in front of, or behind my challenge word to make a new longer word or to make a well-known phrase or saying. The combination will never be a person's name.
The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when gen2 will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past. My set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
