We may have found a company who are in the process of designing free standing and wall mounted display cases for the above with 10% of the profits going to the six charities involved. If anybody is interested I will keep you informed.
You can get them made out of perspex. I've a silver opium pipe mounted in one, a really good plinth and then the rectangular case over it - that made in H-Kong. We also had an antique Indonesian silk rug mounted that way too. Your local museum may be able to advise of a nearby manufacturer....
I didn't know that Hull was in China these days. And yes the company, which specialises in display cases, will probably make money but will donate 10% to the charities involved. I doubt very much if they will be tacky but nobody is forced to buy them. I was only offering to share information with interested parties.
