I have said this before and its not a happy thing to say but I think that whenever the pub restrictions were eased, this was going to happen pretty much regardless of anything that could be said or done. The only hope is to get through this silliness quickly and as safely as possible.

its actually neither. Even though its called hibernation or aestivation, its not actually triggered by the season but by the temperature. Tortoises don't aestivate in summer unless the temperature becomes too high, similarly hibernating species don't hibernate just because its winter but because the temperature becomes too low.

Well, Boris' faith wasn't misplaced around here. Everyone behaved perfectly well as did, I suspect, most areas outside some city centres. There will always be idiots unfortunately, but it would not be fair to reimpose sanctions on all.
