Long. Covid And Flu Jab
7 Answers
I’ve been poorly with long covid for about 6 months and have just started to feel better. On Friday I had a flu jab and it’s wiped me out. In all the years of having a flu jab I’ve never had a bad reaction before. No pain in my arm which is what I usually get, but I’ve slept nearly all day. I do feel a bit better today but I lost Sunday altogether. Strange. I wonder if the two things are connected? Has anyone else had a bad flu jab reaction this year? Just when I thought I was getting on top of the long covid too. Pleased to say that the nausea has nearly gone and I am starting to eat better.

wait and see - as far as I can see from the stats, no one is OKish to start and then gets worse ( you know so they have to be admitted)
Not getting the jab and getting seasonal flu has a really bad side effect - and not THAT rare
