I totally forgot to ask what everyone else was having, DOH! I know a desert suggestion thread was already created.
Rowanwitch: I don't think either of us would do much nibbling from a cheeseboard. I'd probably eat Wensleydale, however that's a bit boring. No booze, we're both recovering alcoholics (4+ years sober for me).
Meaghan27: I love roasties, my OH doesn't really like them. Well that isn't entirely true, she will probably have one, I'd eat an entire 1/2 hundred weight of spuds, roasted, if I could. I think I'll just go for broccoli then, rather than both brassicas (that way I won't be left brassic :P after buying all this lot). It's a shame we don't have an M&S near us - only a Sainsbury's, Aldi, B&M, Iceland/Food Warehouse (I probably should have mentioned that in my Question too).
MargoTester: The apple sauce and processed peas are a must, for me anyway. The only vegetables I eat are carrots and peas. I think I will scrub the dumplings. I'm seriously considering the profiteroles though, we both likes those very much, yum.
gingejbee: We're both meatasaurus' and don't like fish. Thank you for your suggestion, it is greatly appreciated.
Atheist: I weigh roughly 13 stone 2 lbs (184 lb/83.4 kg) at a height of 5 feets 9.5 inches (176.53 cm). So I guess I am overweight. My OH is around 20 stones and is 6 feets 4 inches, approx - she is and has been bed bound for 5, going on 6 years.
anneasquith: You're probably right, I will definitely make sure that I do cook too much. That way I'll be able to feed us both for a few days afterwards too :)
roopower: Correct regarding the sprouts, we both hate them, with a passion :P My OH wants two lots of stuffing, so two lots of stuffing she shall gets! You're the second person to mention profiteroles - I think that is a sign ;)
Anyway, I best get gone to the pharmacy and the shops. I'll check back in on this thread after I've got back. Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions/thoughts so far - you're too kind :)
