Is there a free site for Scotland to find out who lived in a particular house. I'm looking at around 1920/21. Thank you.

The 1921 Census should tell you, unfortunately, it is not yet free to view (I imagine it will be in due course). Your local library should have access to it. Here is some information https://www.whodoyouthinkyouaremagazine.com/feature/1921-census-scotland/

You could always try a pay per view membership with FindmyPast or Ancestry. They also have electoral registers from certain districts. Again, your local library will normally have some access for free.
