If you could become invisible for one day what would you do ? Imagine the fun you could have .
I would follow my child around school and when he comes home and I ask if he has had a good day , the normal reply is not bad didnt do anything much . I could question him on it . I have other plans as well but they are not for this board ...

that says an awful lot about you as a parent and the trust you have in your child. I'm not surprised he doesn't tell you anything.
Question Author
yes it does doesnt it . It says that we all as a family have a great sense of humour and I know that he would laugh his head off at the thought of me having done that . but as im sure you are aware your humour bypass operation was a complete success .

Yes, it does doesn't it?

fanx 4 dat

I'm afraid i'd do something highly illegal and go on a shop lifting spree from Harvey Nicks (yes I know, I know.....)

Then I'd go round to our spelling bee's house and do damage to his typing fingers!

Question Author
BOO . Thats the sort of answer i was after . Me too . I would think of something along those lines , both of them . I was just bored and thought of the question and imagened what fun any one else could have . If it ever happens me and you in Harvey Nicks then ?
Don't worry Boo, He's putting himself under huge pressure. When he messes up, we'll all pounce!

You wont be able to see me ..... LOL

I know i'm not answering your question, but I can see where your coming from, the problem is, this site is like emails, you can't get over to others your sense of humour if its a bit on the subtle side, a shame, but there it is.

Me again sparkles!!

lonnie's right, not everyone gets humour, sadly my humour is as subtle as a brick and I've inadvertedly annoyed folks on AB from time to time.

See ya (or not as the case me be!) In Harvey Nicks Sparkles :-)

Sorry to burst your bubble, Hyperthetical, but you won't be watching your child, nor anything else. If you were invisible nobody would be able to see you (of course), but you won't be able to see them either. The retina of the eye works by trapping the light that hits it - and to do that it has to be opaque. The eyes of an invisible man would either have to be visible - a bizarre enough concept in itself - or they just wouldn't work. So, please do let me know if your invisibility experiment ever comes to fruition, as I look forward to you stumbling into me, groping for a handhold - because as well as being blind you will, of course, be stark, b*ll*ck naked ...

Can I have more than one day? I want to be a poltergeist and go and haunt someone I used to know.
I just realised how dysfunctional I am because I would go to my ex wife's house ( who now lives alone) and do all the things I used to do that drove her up the wall, like load the loo roll with the paper hanging to the wall side, put the phone reciever on "back to front", rumple her cushions by sitting on them, put an empty milk carton back in the fridge and best of all squeeze her toothpaste out of the middle of the tube and leave it on the splashback.God that'd be so great.
If you were invisible and ate something, would you just see semi digested food floating around at stomach level?
go to the pub and watch my bladder fill up

Vin Diesels shower would be first on my list, followed by a quick visit to the bank to make a huge withdrawal. After that I would go to work and follow my boss around making ghostie noises in his ears until he has had enough and runs away screaming. Then I would accompany boo on the finger breaking escapade.

sparkle i know exactly what you mean about following your kid around. Both my son and daughter used to come home from school and when asked what their day had been like they either said 'dunno cant remember' or 'it was okay, didnt do much'

Question Author
Thanks for all the replies . I know it was silly but hey . aka pixi im glad you understood what i meant by my scenario . I didnt want to keep an eye on him but just to say well i know you done this in maths or English etc . Just a shame i cant say im anything like Vin Diesel !!! Good luck all ..

Gonzodog! Welcome to the site, your going to love it here.

Now, tell me, if you could be invisible (all but the eyes, of course), AND travel back in time!!! What would you get up to???

That'll keep him quiet for a metaphysical while ;)

Question Author
Very good indeed stevie_c2it .... What would you then ? I will have a think and get back to you with my thoughts ...
I'm not sure following children around is all together healthy, invisble or not.
