Does anyone know the author/publisher of the book 'The Bible Code'? I remember reading this book a couple of years ago and wondered if there had been an updated version. For those who don't know it's a book in which the author claims to have stumbled upon a code hidden in the Bible which learned scholars had known about for decades. The code seemed to predict the future When he investigated the subject deeper (which also meant studying Hebrew to enable him to interpret the code) he became absolutely convinced of the code's existence and accuracy. It was an absolutely fascinating (and frightening) book... if it was real...

There is a new book "The Bible Code 2: The Countdown" published beginning of December which I saw in the bookshops a few days ago. But its the same old tripe inside.

There's a much better better, more serious, less sensationalist book on the Bible Code by Dr Jeffrey satinover.

Tripe, eh, Pinotage? If you can actually disprove it, then you're doing better than countless scientists, mathematicians and various institute of statistic guys who've tried and inadvertantly proven it. I'm not saying the code is for real, but how can you say it isn't? If you're a skeptic, you're gonna do, anyway.
