Bubonic plague better hygene, black rat driven out by brown, possibly some build up of immunity


Typhoid, Cholera better water supply and hygene. Joseph Bazelgette built London's sewers and saved the lives of tens of thousands.


Leprosy only killed you if you lived long enough but maimed you and was terribly feared - you'd probably die of one of the above or malnutrition first
