Wall problem
10 Answers
When we got up this morning and went into the living room we noticed that there was a large perfect circle mark on one of the walls, my first thought was that it was dampness but the house has never had any problems with this and it is always kept warm. When I smelt it it smelt like wet cemment. We are semi-detached and this wall is next to our neighbours could something in their house be causing the problem? Any other ideas what it could be?

It was caused by a leaking pipe in my neighbours airing cupboard.
Get your neighbour to check it out quickly...
As it's in their kitchen, it's highly likely they have water pipes running round some parts of their walls, they could even be behind kitchen cabinets etc. Your neighbours may not know they have a leak. Work out exactly where it's position is and 'match' it on their side. If damage is caused to your wall/plaster you may be able to claim on insurance...my insurance company said they would claim from neighbour's insurance.
