He is supposed to have visited Liverpool but it's all a bit wishy washy ...just Google Adolf Hitler Liverpool ..loads of info.
not at the head of an army, fortunately. As Shaney says, the Liverpool claim is fairly feeble. But Beryl Bainbridge wrote an entertaining novel about it

Yeah I read that somewhere, aparently his brother (who later emigrated to New York) was employed as a docker,
I thought I read somewhere that he visited the Channel Islands when they were occupied. Aren't they part of the UK?
Here is Herr Hitler at a Liverpool school Christmas 1938.
I have just returned from a holiday in Jersey and visited some of the 2nd World War sites and there was no mention of Hitler ever visiting the Channel Islands.

The Channel Islands are NOT part of the UK, although they are "British". They are NOT a colony, but are run by a Baliff, so they are actually called a Bailiwick.

They have their own parliament, make their own laws, they are partly in the EU, partly outside it, they have their own bank notes and coins (but accept UK notes and coins), they are very near to France, but speak English.

His brother did live in Liverpool, but emigrated to the US where he eventually joined the US Air Force to fight the Germans!
