Here is Herr Hitler at a Liverpool school Christmas 1938.
I have just returned from a holiday in Jersey and visited some of the 2nd World War sites and there was no mention of Hitler ever visiting the Channel Islands.
>Aren't they part of the UK?
The Channel Islands are NOT part of the UK, although they are "British". They are NOT a colony, but are run by a Baliff, so they are actually called a Bailiwick.
They have their own parliament, make their own laws, they are partly in the EU, partly outside it, they have their own bank notes and coins (but accept UK notes and coins), they are very near to France, but speak English.
