3 Rabbit/Hare Symbol

Can anyone tell me what a this symbols means? It's 3 hares or rabbits and they are in a circle with their backs to each other and one of the ears of each one is touching the head of another forming a triangle in the middle?

Numerous sitings have been noted all over the world. Some in Churches, religious artifacts, even caves. They are always around things religious.
If you click here, that will link you to a web-page which has quite a bit of information on your topic.
I just had a look at the link. Givern the way craftsment used to travel around the world working on various projects,but mostly churches is it beyond the bounds of possiblity that someone designed theis near symbol and others looked at it and went "hey that's clever" and carried the idea with them, using it on their next project?...kind of like chads or smilies?
