Vichy was the capital of Vichy France during the occupation. I think. Is this what you mean?

The capital of France was and is Paris( a Trojan name by the way)Military regions are not capitals. By the way the "capital of "france" when correctly spelled..not as in the question, is "F"..thus France. Voila WoWo!!Of course that is not truly correct only if the question is 'capital letter' ..ok. Cheers
I think Lyon was the original capital, but Paris most certainly is now.
