Ultimate Force. Ultimate Farce.

Has any old soldier noticed on the standard shot when they are alighting a plane (i.e when the adverts come on etc) that the tart is carrying her weapon over her shoulders with the barrel pointing straight at Grant Mitchell's head!!!
Now I am certain I would have been court marshalled for that, SAS or not. Do women have special rights?
What a load of b0lloxs the show is!!

Shame on you for calling her a tart Minter. Surely you meant to call her a 'bint'?
You wouldn't have been Courts Marshalled for doing that, it's not a serious enough offence to warrant that seeing as it cost a shed load of cash to set one up unless she'd had an n d (negligent discharge) and shot someone.
All that would have happened in such a scenario as you described would be a sharp eyed NCO would politely inform her to point her weapon elsewhere or she would be placed on a charge for a minor offence. She would most likely be fined about 150 by her O.C (Officer Commanding) not her C.O (Commanding Officer) I assume you know the diffrence?
Also, whenever I've alighted an aircraft with my weapon, (even flying into Riyadh in Saudi Arabia prior to the Gulf war we had our weapons unloaded, that is to say for the uninformed civvies amongst us, the magazine which holds the bullets was not attached to the weapon, it was in our webbing (equipment). this is because aircrew get twitchy and nervous when hairy arsed squaddies are on their beloved planes
Hope this helps?

Once again the infamous liar Ward-Minter trips himself up.
As others have said, pointing a weapon absent mindedly is seen as a very minor indiscretion. Not worthy of placing the soldier on a charge, only 'a word in your ear' would suffice.
The person asking this question never ever has been a soldier and never will be.
Signed,
An old soldier

He is notorious for telling 'tall tales' as you put it.
He will have you believe that he was a Captain in the Intelligence Corps, a claim I find particularly distressing as I myself was a Lieutenant Colonel in Intelligence, and that during that service he was shot or depending on who he is addressing he was stabbed by a Muslim terrorist, then, again depending on who he is talking to, he either shoots the terrorist in the head or gouges their eyes out with his bare hands.
He will also have one believe that he drives a Bentley, lives in a huge house in the country, has properties in France, teaches in a fee paying private school, now he appears to be trying hard to convince us that he is getting married to some American woman after a whirl wind romance.
