It would depend on the ship, how many ports it called at en route, and (most important) the wind. But I would guess, about 2 months.

As a matter of interest, I believe the convict ships en route to Botany Bay went first to South America, then to South Africa, presumably to top up their water supplies.

Depends on the time of year and prevailing winds. If you could narrow it down to a specific month, in a specific year.....I really gotta get out more.
