The English fleet persued the Spanish up through the English Channel past Dover and up the East coast. The Spanish continued running and went past the English/Scottish boader. We (I am English) stopped the chase as we didnt want to brave the Scottish storms.
This was risky because the Spanish could have landed in Scotland, but they didnd.
The Spanish continued up and roud the Scotish coast, this proved to be bad for them as less than half of their ships survived the stoms.
