Hugh...Yes. Some years ago I went to the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington and it was a foggy afternoon. The Control Tower was very well done and on the wall was a chart indicating aircraft that were overdo and as I looked out into the fog in the direction of the runway, one could imagine hearing the drone of the engines of the overdue bombers.
