Christianity VS Islam

Please don't be offended. Did Islam came before Christianity? In other words, did the prophet Muhammad came before Jesus? Or was it the other way around?

No soonny, Christ first and then the Prophet.

The islamic dates are sometimes abbreviated A H

which is latin: anno hegira, The year of the flight, which I think is the date of the Prophet's ejection from Mecca to Medina, and is something like AD 628

The other disadvantage is that islamic years are 12 lumar months and the christian year is 13 give or take a day or two.

I hope this helps. It is important for Christians and Muslims to meet even over the internet and  rationally discuss their respecive beliefs

Muslims, believe that the message God brang down to the messengers, was that of Islam, So one could say Islam came first, due to the fact Muslims believe Jesus "Prophet Esa" peace be upon him also preached the message, aswell as the many prophets before him, Like Prophet Mosa peace be upon him too.

well to tell you first you are speaking of arab muslims i am a nation of islam muslim and Islam exsisted way before Prophet Muhammad may peace and blessings be among him and his sucessors. He was the one who wrote the Holy Quran and presented it in Arabia one Jesus taught Islam and came 2000 years ago and prophet Muhammad came 1400 years ago if you live in Califorina around the bay there is a temple in Richmond on 4th street and Mcdonold at 252 and 250 i hope you understand what i said thank you for you time.
