my house is a crudens built concrete and steel framed design. i can,t have cavity wall insulation . have large cupboard in kitchen on outside wall.what can i put on inside of wall to insulate as it, s very cold in winter

Can you put battens on wall then fill in with loft insulation & then plasterboard onto battens which can be tiled or painted.Ron

thanks for advice folks. will do something about it in the summer,if we get one!!
Ask around local builders to see if any of them have an odd bit of 1'' thick blue Styrofoam. 1'' thickness of Stryofoam is the insulating equivalent of about 3'' loft insulation. It'll cut easily to push-fit between battens.
Te easiest way would be to glue 2" polystyrene on the wall then glue plasterboard to that'
