Door Locks

Anyone suggest a remedy for our PVC multi-point locking door- we cannot remove the key after locking it. I have tried wire brush cleaning of all the lock bolts & silicone lubrication. -Thanks in anticipation....

Matt, I guess it's a Eurolock, something like this .........

If you still can't remove the key ........ suggesting the lock is faulty ........ open the door, remove the single screw that retains the lock, and fit a new one. Very simple job.
While you're at it.......... if you have other Eurolocks in the house, buy new locks for them all ....... "keyed alike" .......... that means you only need one key for everything.

This happened to my mother’s front door as a result of two people trying to unlock the door simultaneously (from the inside and the outside).
I suspect the lock mechanism had somehow got out of sync. The fix was to once again operate the lock mechanism with keys in both the internal and external locks.
