Some sort of waterproof tape ..

We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

Crich Stand is a memorial to soldiers from the area who have died in wars post the Second World War and the most lost their lives fighting in Afghanistan!
Other wars included The Korean and I think The Falklands.
Just arranged with my walking friend to go another walk next Wednesday. I never know where until I get to her house. As long as I've got my lunch I'm ok.

oight oight jude. Lol Jno I am glad that Jno jnr is sorted. Tomorrow, the gods of weather willing, I am going to catch up on all the housework that i can't do while cuddling 64kg of scared dog. They are much better on the meds, its not an actual physical fight now to stop them climbing on things or trying to dig in behind the TV but they still glue themselves to me. I have to get to the loo in intervals between storms!!

Morning all...silly site keeps freezing. Bright 'n breezy again.

Sounds like a lovely time you had Jude. After my grandma died my grandad remarried and they had a small weekend caravan at Whatstandwell, very close to edge of a sheer drop! We stayed there sometimes, kids lived dangerously back then :)

jno I hope jnr's not like Ozzy and his wife who, despite fat wage packets, liked to plead poverty at regular intervals (usually around xmas time). The poor things even had to downsize their car to one about three inches smaller :)

Well I think my aches and pains aren't being helped by spending weeks crammed under shaney's sink so I'll be in touch toot sweet. :)
