Power Saw
Can anyone recommend a power saw that I can use without coming into any danger. A small thing suitable for a lady?

I use a Black and Decker powered handsaw which might suit you. I used it to chop up a three piece suite so I could get it out the front door. http:// www. argos. co. uk/ static/ Product/ partNumber/ 7112719. htm

I can understand that.
I would recommend a small rechargeable jigsaw. There is no power lead to worry about, they are light weight and easier to use than a circular saw.
Just make sure to use a firm grip, keep the base of the saw in contact with what you are cutting and ensure as the blade moves up and down that there is plenty of clearance underneath, otherwise it will "kick back".
