Mixing Non Stir Paint ?

want to darken a new tin of beige paint Problem is its non drip/non stir will it ruin it if I stir some black into it

Depends on how much patience you have it it all goes wonky. Things to consider - are the paints similar eg both water-based emulsions, or both gloss, etc
You've some chance of making a shade different if the paints are the same family.
The thing is you'll never be able to replicate the shade you make, so you'd better have enough for the whole job!
I think stirring and mixing another paint will simply get rid of the non-drip quality of the paint, which is no bad thing IMO as people (ie the OH) are tempted to butter the woodwork rather than paint it, when left unsupervised.

If you leave non stir paint alone, it jellifies again, provided the paint you mix with it is also non stir.
