Connecting A Mk Light Switch
I recently bought a MK One Way Light switch to replace one that was faulty. When I tried to tighten the screws to retain the wires, they appear to be far too short & will not grip even if the wire is doubled back. You can simply pull the wire out of the switch. Had to go back and buy a cheaper item which worked fine.
Is there a special way of making the connection?

There is also a serious danger here of someone not realising that the wiring is not secure and suffering from the results if the switch box is not properly earthed as it may well be in older houses.
