our shower wont turn off

hi we got a shower that is run from the gas boiler and you turn the back bit of the pump of the shower to turn on and off if you understand me. its been dripping for a few days and this morning it juxst wouldnt turn off although the shower is in the off position any one any ideas??

It probably just needs a service take off the shower valve and clean and descale the insides of it there may well be a build up of scale stopping the valve to shut off compleatley.
