Ok, so I have a little problem with my sander where after a while the vaccuum bag will just drop off. I've emptied it but the connection is just rubbed away from use.

Now I'm currently sanding down plaster that I've put on the toilet walls and I'm just curious as to what will attract the sanded dust so that it doesn't spread around the house?

I've heard something about running water attracting dust but I don't know whether to try it out because it just seems odd.

Any help would be appreciated as my girlfriend gets really bad sneezing fits for 3 days after I start sanding.

You could try just running the vacuum cleaner whilst sanding and keeping the window open, most dust will drift out of the window!!
leave bowls of water around

Thanks both. I'll give both of these a try tonight.

I can't believe I didn't think about using a vaccuum cleaner.
