My stainless steel hob has scratches all over it from where my boyfriend used a brillo pad to try and clean it..ive tried allsorts to try and get the "sheen" a little bit better, but nothing seems to work. Baby oil and standard stainless steel cleaners only clean it, they dont help in covering up the scratches.
any ideas?

He must be a right dip stick your boy friend.
I doubt very much you'll completely remove the scratches. Although woodchoppers idea sounds good. Are they very visible?

Thanks for the help.

Defo going to buy the GS27 stuff.

Of course if it is really scratched you won't be able to get it 100% back to normal.
Get out the worst of the scratches with fine flint paper, rubbing in one direction only. Then use the polish. My stainless sink basins are buffed finish, so I just used fine sandpaper, and they looked good as new.
