Boiler/Shower help
Hi, I live in a flat which at the moment just has a bath. I would like to install a shower but have been advised that an electirc shower will be a messy job due to where the bathroom is in relation to the electrics etc etc so i was thinking about a changing my bath taps to bath/mixer shower taps. The only thing is i'm not sure whether this would be ok with my boiler - it is next door to my bathroom and the bottom of the boiler is probably the same height as to where to bath taps are. It says on it that it is a direct combination tank. can anyone help with advice? thanks

If so, then, it sounds like the cylinder is not high enough to feed a shower head...............as you suspect.........simple law of gravity. :o(
A simple pump would sort you out.............but you really need a plumber, unless you're pretty good at DIY :o)

Electricity is a lot easier to 'pipe' around the inside of the house then water. Cables are thinner and more flexible to fix than even plastic water pipes - who advised you? - a plumber rather than an electrician? An electric shower connect-up must be done by a qualified (Part P) electrician - which probably means two trades to complete the whole job.
