Bath stains

I have some black marks on my new acrylic bath that i can't get off. I've looked on the net for 'touch-ups, but can only find ones for ceramic baths or white acrylic (my bath is pergemon.) Would be grateful for any ideas.

try toothpaste -apply as you would a cream in a circular movement

A black mark on an acrylic bath has to be something black stuck to the surface, not some black substate under the surface exposed as the result of scratching off the acrylic surface.
Therefore using a very mild abrasive (such as toothpaste) should do the trick and rub it off.
