Baxi bermuda

I have a baxi bermuda back boiler with a tempus six timer but no room thermostat. Is there any way I can wire a thermostat into the timer rather than wiring it all the way back to the boiler itself?
The back boiler was installed a while ago but no external room thermostat was installed at the time.

i assume you want the stat for the heating system, would it not be easier to fit TRVs on the radiators ?

These are added to each individual radiator to permit different temperatures around the home. A Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) controls the room temperature by reading the current air temperature and appropriately opening or closing the inlet valve to the radiator to achieve the preset temperature.

This is distinct to a standard valve on a radiator which maintains the temperature of that radiator, regardless of the room temperature.

You need to connect the room stat in series with the timeclock so when the timeclock is on and the room stat is calling for heat the pump will start and bring on the boiler, deffo a job for a sparky like myself....

most sparkys haven't a clue when it comes to wiring central heating systems so deffo a job for a heating/gas engineer !!

the room stat will be need to be wired into the main electrical junction box for the heating system and the exact wiring will depend on what type of plan the system is i.e. s plan, y plan, w plan etc

a room thermostat is definately the easier and cheaper option than draining the system and fitting thermostatic valves to the radiators and then re-filling. the only hassle is finding a way of hiding the cable to the stat
