I have a baxi bermuda back boiler 401 and although i have had no problems with the boiler (it is over 20yrs old)i was trying to get a modern new fire to fit but so far no joy!!
Friend told me to get rid of the baxi and get a combi boiler and then i would have a better of choice of fires.
I do like the back boiler system and all i really wanted was a new fire ,is there any way i could get a greater choice of fires for this sytem ?
If i have to change my boiler ,any advice of wither a baxi backboiler or a combi boiler is best. i would appreciate any help
my plumbing lecturer says all back boilers are dangerous especially when only part removed.
he is ex british gas, valliant and an experienced guy.
you wil not believe how good modern condensing boilers are untill you try them.
have you a friend with a new boiler whose opinion you could ask about them.
which sep 07 for a boiler report
