laminate flooring

hi everyone, i am having laminate flooring in my new house and i was wondering how much i should expect to pay the guy doing it, one room is 10 metres by 4, other 4 x5 and other 6 x 5. I am buying the flooring and everything needed. Thanks in advance everyone x

Cutting and clicking laminate strips into place is the easy bit.
Finishing the edges properly is the time-consuming part.

so how much do you reckon i should say?
I paid �30 per room plus �10 for ripping out and disposing of old carpet and underlay.

Hi, as buildersmate says doing the main area of floor is easy but the finishing can take quite a time. I would have thought �30 for a room was on the low side, you may have to pay quite a bit more than that.
Average tradesmen charge �70p.d. for labour; add cost of laminate. Included in the tradesmen charge are his professional tools needed.
my jobbing builder (who does all and any jobs going) charges �10 per hour...
