I have 2 ceiling lights in my sitting room one at either end of the room and the other day all the bulbs blew in 1 of the lights. I changed all the bulbs but nothing, checked all the trip switches and wires, bought a new light switch and still nothing. Please help. Many Thanks,

Did you fit the original lightrs - just a thought they may be "low voltage" inn which case there should be a transformer somewhere.
May be unrelated but I had this type of incident a while ago - the bulb blew because a wire had come loose and shorted it - I changed the bulb & nothing happened until I discovered the loose wire.
Please dont mess with electrics unless you know what you are doing.
What makes you think all the bulbs in the fitting blew at exactly the same time - do you know what the chances are? Were you sat there when they went ping? or did it just not come on when you pushed the switch?

As an electrician I can safely say that there is a problem with the light fitting and/or it's wiring therefore you should contact a qualified electrician to diagnose and correct this.
