Peeling paint......
2 Answers
I have stripped the wallpaper which has been on for years (way before I lived in the house). Underneath being plaster. I have painted the wall, but the paint is peeling off. However, above the picture rail, the paint is not peeling. Any ideas why the paint is peeling and what I can do to prevent it? Many thanks

The other thing it could be is that the first coat on bare plaster needs to be watered down so that it seals the wall. Otherwise the emulsion will dry out too fast and that will cause it to peel.
