Mildew in fabric

I left my garden seat cushions outside and they have gone mouldy/mildewy - I've tried a hot wash and Ace Bleach without look. Any idea how to get the stains out? They are pale cotton with a stripe on them so I can't bleach them. Thanks!

One way of getting rid of this is by soaking the fabric in lemon juice (always check the washing instructions first) and drying it outside in the sun. The enzymes produced will help kill the bacteria and eradicate the smell.
