If you can change a 13A plug you've got the level of technical expertise required to fit a new coaxial outlet. If your aerial cable runs inside the wall you probably need one of these:

It's not normally necessary to solder the centre pin unless you are in a low signal area, you can normally get away with just cutting the excess centre core of the cable off level with the connector once fitted.

I agree that Maplin's website can be nearly as confusing as Microsoft's website. (Oh, hang on though, NOTHING is anywhere near as bad as Microsoft's website!). However I think that you'll find, from JD's post, that he lacks a plug or socket on the end of his aerial cable, so he wouldn't have anything to plug that lead into.
Yeah, after posting I re-read the initial post and realised it's the Belling Lee socket that's being asked for, not a front plate for the wall socket :-)
