I recently sawan artical on new type of chicken coop but the cost was over £1000 over £900 over my limit for my 3 bantams (Lavender Pekins) one of which was from a egg only one from 24 so she is a special bird raised like a canery. The question is how can I bend wooden laths 1.5"x about .5" into rings 2 of which will have to be about 4foot in dia and the 3rd about 6foot in dia to make something like a beer barrel. I now you have to use steam but how? MTIA

This will show you hot-pipe bending ... http://soundsalon.com/Make_a_Bending_Iron.html

I've used both methods very successfully.
My preferred method is a hot-pipe ... I do use steam, but don't prefer it.
