Stinky Lavender

I bought grey lavender plants two years ago and this year the flowers were small round yellow, and stank of cats crap, so they won`t be growing again next year.

very odd, shouldn't smell like that!........I would ditch it!.......

thats because it wasnt lavender.....leaves look the same so can be mistaken when young sounds like either curry plant or senecio greyii aka 'cotton lavender' much better as a light leafed highlight plant I'd just move them where you won't smell them but they will still look nice

Rowan, I`ve looked at the plant you mention on google, but mine is different than that one. It`s been taken to the tip now, where it joins many other stinks.
